The Andaman I Remember
When I first spent time in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands, the sea was what I remembered most. The water felt cool and clear, and even close to the shore you could see small fish and colourful corals below.
Years later, I returned expecting the same feeling. But the water felt noticeably warmer. At a few places, the corals I remembered as bright and colourful looked pale and faded. Some stretches of the coast also felt more exposed, as if the sea had slowly moved closer.
