Climate story · Mysore Road Tolgate, India
The winter we stopped using blankets in Mysore
I lived in Mysore, India for 25 years and I vividly remember going to school in sweaters and scarfs ( our school had a uniform and we had navy blue sweaters) and going to bed with thick blankets during the winters. Mysore is more like a hill station and winters can be colder unlike the rest of south India. But then I guess in the last 10 years, we barely use any winter wear or thick blankets at all. Winters dip to maybe 15 degrees ( something a German might call pleasant)
